We had a most enjoyable week in Villa Irena and thoroughly enjoyed exploring that part of the country. The tennis court was a great hit with the boys and we all played every day.

We have just returned from holiday and I just wnated to take the opportunity to thank yourself and Irena for having us in your beautiful villa. Irena was exceptionally helpful and very kind to us during our stay and could not have been nicer.

Just a few words to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay, your mum is the perfect hostess, the apartment was lovely everything we needed was on hand. Also met your dad, they both came round with a decanter of red wine which was lovely.

Hi Mark,
Just a quick note to say Hvala. We had a wonderful time in Croatia. The Croatian people are so welcoming and humble. We loved Trogir and Hvar; although we had an adventure as we were stranded in Hvar Town on a Sunday because we missed the last ferry but Stari Grad took us in and it was an experience to say the least! We missed seeing the Krka National Park and Salona but this is all the more reason to come back.
What made our visit most pleasurable was staying in Apartment Mark in Villa Irena. It did not let us down. The team were all so helpful and so welcoming! Irena was very kind [especially providing us with endless amounts of toilet paper!] and thank you to Josip for the lift to and from the airport. Also, one night we went to the recommended Fontana restaurant and we think it was Irena brother [a bald man] who drove us to Trogir late one evening, so thank you to him too.
The area that Villa Irena is situated is all so peaceful and immaculate. Great location, not too far to walk or get on the bus, as well as the beach literally on our doorstep! Either way, we ate well, slept well, learnt Croatian, swam in the sea and relaxed; exactly what we came for!
Hope to return soon and recommend Villa Irena to our friends and colleagues!

A real home from home without the rain. A lovely villa and welcoming hosts Irene & Mark.
We hit the S.Europe heat wave whilst in the Uk suffered record levels of flooding. An afternoon siesta highly recommended in these temps. The pool a welcome opportunity to cool down.
The taxi-boat from the nearby Medena hotel is by far the route into Trogir-remember it breaks-the afternoona and restarts early evening.

As soon as I arrived I knew that i was going to have the best holiday ever! The pool is great and so is the apartment! The view is great and Trogir is excellent!

Lovely holiday- 2 1/2 weeks in Croatia-Hvar, Dubrovnik and Trogir. Lovely country+ fantastic pizzas! Great spacious apartment with fantastic pool+view, our best on this holiday. Rafting on Cetina River was amazing. Definitely my holiday highlight.

A short e-mail to say many thanks for the use of your splendid apartment (Marta 2). We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Croatia which was particularly enhanced by the the kindness of Irena, who made us feel very welcome and at home.
Whilst spending the last night in Josep's apartment, Oliver (my son) thinks he may have have left his camera behind, possibly in the Bedroom. If found please send to our address below, I will re-imburse the cost of post etc.
